FLOSSIE at home, resting after a nice long walk.. Flossie is such a lovely dog to walk as she is so gentle that you hardly know that she is on the end of the lead. She always smiles at me when I arrive at the house and sometimes she actually laughs by chattering her teeth together.
Lucy, my dear old Greyhound with an 8 week old foster puppy. Greyhounds make such wonderful pets. They are fantastic with children and so naturally clean in the house and easy on the lead. Many of them are also good with small animals and some will live with cats. Thousands of Greyhounds are destroyed every year once they have finished racing and earning for their owners. They deserve to put their feet up in a home where they will be treasured, not cruelly discarded. If you are considering getting another dog, please consider a Greyhound and contact one of the Greyhound charities. Battersea Dogs' Home and the Dog's Trust also have many Greyhounds and Lurchers waiting patiently for nice homes.
